Privacy Policy

ReorderGuard is operated by IgamingTeam LLC. This policy explains how we process information when a Shopify merchant installs or uses ReorderGuard.

1. Information we process

We process only the information needed to authenticate the merchant, synchronize inventory, and calculate reorder recommendations:

• Shop identity and settings, including shop domain, shop ID, name, email, currency, timezone, plan, and configuration choices.
• Authorized staff session information supplied by Shopify, which may include name, email, locale, user ID, account-owner status, and authentication tokens.
• Products and variants, including titles, SKUs, vendors, images, prices, costs, inventory quantities, incoming and committed quantities, and inventory item identifiers.
• Order line-item and fulfillment quantities used to calculate aggregate SKU demand. ReorderGuard does not require or intentionally retain customer names, postal addresses, payment details, or order notes.
• Derived data such as sales velocity, weekly demand, safety stock, reorder points, stockout estimates, recommended quantities, and sync status.
• Technical request, security, and error logs generated when the service is used.

2. How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure the service; synchronize Shopify data at the merchant’s request; calculate and display inventory recommendations; maintain authenticated sessions; diagnose failures; respond to support and privacy requests; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell merchant or customer data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it.

3. Legal basis and merchant responsibilities

For merchant-account data, processing is necessary to provide the service requested by the merchant and to protect the service from misuse. Where privacy law requires a separate legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing ReorderGuard, compliance with law, or consent where specifically requested. Merchants remain responsible for their own notices and lawful use of Shopify data.

4. Service providers and international transfers

We use a limited set of providers acting on our behalf:

• Shopify for merchant authentication and commerce APIs.
• Akamai Cloud Computing (Linode) for application and database hosting in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
• Cloudflare for domain registration, authoritative DNS, and network security services.
• Zoho Mail for support and privacy email.

These providers may process data in countries other than the merchant’s country. We use providers’ contractual and technical safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.

5. Retention and deletion

Shop data and authenticated sessions are retained while ReorderGuard is installed and as needed to provide the service. When Shopify sends an app-uninstalled or shop-redaction request, ReorderGuard deletes the shop’s sessions, products, aggregate sales history, recommendations, and sync records. Limited infrastructure logs may remain temporarily according to provider retention and security settings. ReorderGuard does not retain customer profiles, so customer data-access and redaction requests return no stored customer profile data.

6. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, encrypted environment-secret storage, Shopify-signed session and webhook verification, access controls, least-privilege Shopify scopes, and logically separated shop records. No method of storage or transmission is completely risk-free, but we maintain safeguards appropriate to the data processed.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, merchants and individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Merchants can disconnect ReorderGuard by uninstalling it in Shopify. Privacy requests may be sent to privacy@reorderguard.app. We may need to verify the request and coordinate with the relevant Shopify merchant.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the service or merchant contact information when appropriate.
